Smartwatch is one of the most popular variable since the introduction of smartphones. It provide fitness tracking and data sync with smartphone to offer convenience and elegance. Recently, a new patent submitted by HUAWEI shows a unique display type where the watchface is no longer in round shape.
According to HarmonyOS roadmap, HUAWEI will be pushing HarmonyOS 2.0 smartwatch and smartband.
HUAWEI also recently submit “Mate Watch” for trademark which hints upcoming smartwatch. The Mate Watch will be the first smartwatch with HarmonyOS in action which could be launching along with HUAWEI Mate 40.
