Earlier last year, MediaTek has released the Dimensity 9000 SoC and announced on the Dimensity 8000 SoC which offers slightly lesser performance for budget friendly phone. Today, the performance of the MediaTek Dimensity 8800 measured through Antutu benchmark has achieved 820230 score and 197563 was the score awarded to the CPU.
This result has outperformed the popular Snapdragon 888 SoC with scores around 80 thousand.
The Dimensity line up was marketed to be a highly battery efficient SoC while delivering high performance. At this moment, OPPO, vivo and Xiaomi are using the Dimensity 9000 SoC and we might expect more manufacturer to opt for the Dimensity 8000 too.
