Samsung Galaxy A series is one of the popular target of the mid-range market consumer. This time, a new report state that Samsung is planning to integrate AMD GPU into the Exynos SoC lineup and first brought into the Galaxy A series to improve gaming performance.
The first Exynos chip along with AMD collaboration is known as the Exynos 2200. It uses the first AMD mRDNA architecture graphics and provides mid-range graphical performance. It is expected that AMD will continue to make high end graphics chipset for flagship smartphones on the market that uses the Exynos processor.
Samsung is expected to bring such chipset to the already popular Galaxy A series to improve the competitiveness in the mid-range smartphone market. Although it is unsure whether such collaboration will increase the retail price of the Galaxy A series.
