Meet the new Dell convertible hybrid – XPS 13!

Convertible laptops are much a norm in gadget industry today as it offers productivity on the go. With Lenovo launches the iconic convertible laptop such as the Lenovo Yoga Book last year, Dell has introduced their new hybrid laptop – the XPS 13 that features premium hardware and design on Consumer Electronic Expo 2017.


Similar with other convertibles, the XPS 13 can be rotated 360 degree that act as a conventional laptop or a tablet.



The main distinguishable design on the XPS 13 is its “InifinityEdge”  display with near zero bezel. It has a display resolution higher than 3K at 3200 x 1800. The 13.3 inches display also supports multi-touch and covered with Corning Gorilla glass.


The entry level XPS 13 model comes with Full HD display but both convertibles is powered by 7th generation Intel Core i5 or i7 (Kaby Lake) processor.


The RAM in XPS 13 is available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB along storage space option at 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB solid state drive.


For its I/O, XPS 13 2 in 1 also provide 1x Thunderbolt 3 port, 1x USB Type C port, microSD reader and earphone & microphone jack. There is also a 720p camera on top of the display and it supports fingerprint recognition technology.

On the side note, the XPS 13 comes with a stylus support 2048 pressure level which is ideal for artist and content creator. It is currently priced at US$999 (~RM4500) and will be available to purchase in US this month onward.
