During the Xiaomi launch conference today, Xiaomi has introduced the new lineup for the entry range Mi TV and the high end Q1 series TV.
The Xiaomi P Series TV comes in variety of sizes starting from 32″, 43″ and 55″ screen size. The 43″ and 55″ offers 4K UHD display while the 32″ display has 1366 x 768 resolution. The 55″ supports HDR10+ display and the entire range of TV supports 60Hz refresh rate and 178 degree viewable angle. Xiaomi also uses MEMC technology to reduce amount of loss frame.
All the P Series TV comes with 10W stereo speakers, 2 sets of treble and 2 sets of bass speaker. It supports Dolby Audio and DTS-HD audio. For the 32″ model it has 1.5GB RAM and 8GB ROM while the rest of the premium end is at 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM.
The 32″ TV supports HDMI ARC connector and has 2x HDMI port, 2x USB 2.0 port and the other variants supports HDMI eARC 2.1 port, 2x HDMI 2.0 port and 2x USB 2.0 port. All of the TV in P series has ethernet port.
Xiaomi also brings the larger scale, lighter and premium Q series. The Xiaomi Q1 TV comes in 75″ and support quantum dot display, 4K UHD resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and up to 100% NTSC.
The Mi TV Q1 also supports HDMI 2.1 and features Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) technology to reduce content lag. It also packs with 30W cimematic speakers which includes 2 sets of treble speaker and 4 sets of bass speaker. Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD audio are supported.
Performance wise, the Xiaomi Q series TV is powered by MediaTek MT9611 SoC, 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM. It has 3 HDMI port including eARC, 2x USB 2 port and 1x 3.5mm audio jack with 1x ethernet port.
The P and Q series both runs on Android TV and compatible with Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube. It also supports Chrome Cast, Miracast etc to project display from mobile devices into TV. The Mi TV Q1 remote has brings dedicated Netflix and Prime Video button for quick launching.
As for its pricing, the Mi TV P1 32″ retails at RM899, 43″ retails at RM1799, 55″ at RM 2499 and all opens for pre-order on 6th June this year. 32″ is exclusively available through Lazada and Shopee and each pre-order comes with discount of RM899. The first 100 buyers can get free Mi Band 6. As for the 43″ and 55″ P series TV can only be bought through Xiaomi retail store, Senheng and other authorized distributor. Each purchase of P series also comes with 1 month free WeTV subscription, iQiYi and MangoTV membership
For 55″ P series order, it comes with RM566 Xiaomi AIoT set which includes Xiaomi mini vacuum cleaner, 360 degree 2K CCTV, Xiaomi weight 2 and Xiaomi WiFi range extender.
The high end Mi Q1 TV retails at RM7999 and opens for pre-order on Lazada or Xiaomi retail store, Senheng and or distributor. It also comes with the same perk and the AloT package that’s worth RM1765 which adds the Xiaomi air purifier on top of the above perks from P series purchase.
