Just in today, ASUS has officially launched 3 new Zenfone series product at Computex 2016 happening in Taipei, Taiwan. These 3 new Zenfone are the Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra! The Zenfone 3 was the lowest spec Zenfone 3 generation smartphone launched today. However, it still features a crisp Full HD display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

The capacitive home button, back and recent menu keys are located at the bottom.

Proximity sensor, call speakers and front facing camera are all aligned in a straight line.

Zenfone 3 comes with a smooth and rounded edge which makes it good to play with. The location of earphone jack is another plus when it is located at the top.

Despite being a mid-range smartphone, it does features the USB Type C port for faster data transfer.

The antenna in the Zenfone 3 is hidden and hence no strips can be seen from the side.

The 16MP camera with f/2.0 is one of the biggest highlight of this mid-range smartphone. It comes with a laser assisted auto focus along with dual tone LED flash and enhances low light shooting experience. It is also surprising to see Zenfone 3 to add the fingerprint sensor as a feature of their smartphones.

The Zenfone 3 runs on Snapdragon 625 processor with octacore ARM Cortex A53 processor based on 14nm architecture.

It comes with a 3000mAh battery.

Conclusion

Although Zenfone 3 performance cannot be compared side by side with the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, the Zenfone 3 remains one of the best budget smartphone that comes with certain flagship features and hardware! Whatsmore? This smartphone only cost around RM1099!
